OSF Saint Francis Medical Center and the INI are here today largely because of the community support it has received throughout its history. When The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis founded their healthcare ministry in 1877, they were dependent on the generosity of neighbors to keep the struggling hospital open.

While much has changed at OSF Saint Francis, the INI, and in healthcare in general since those early days, the need for community support has remained as great as ever. Like the early supporters of the Sisters' work, you can invest in the future of healthcare in this community by investing in the INI Foundation.
