Complex Neurosurgical Care

Neurosurgeons are highly trained specialists who treat a variety of complex conditions affecting the brain, spine and peripheral nerves. Following medical school, neurosurgeons participate in a five- to six-year residency program. Many also complete a fellowship in a subspecialty area. The neurosurgeons of the INI Neurosurgery subspecialize in specific practice areas to ensure they have the most current medical information and the highest technical skill to provide you with the best care possible.

Pediatric Neurosurgery

The Illinois Neurological Institute is proud to have the only board certified pediatric neurosurgeon in Downstate Illinois on staff. In collaboration with other pediatric subspecialties, Julian Lin, MD offers surgical treatment for children with complex neurological conditions at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois in Peoria.
