The Illinois Neurological Institute is proud to have the only board certified pediatric neurosurgeon in Downstate Illinois on staff. In collaboration with other pediatric subspecialties, Julian Lin, MD offers surgical treatment for children with complex neurological conditions at the Children's Hospital of Illinois in Peoria.

In cooperation with agencies such as Easter Seals and the St. Jude's Midwest Affiliate, INI Neurosurgery provides care for children with spasticity and pediatric brain tumor. Monthly multidisciplinary spinal bifida, spasticity, and craniofacial clinics are offered at the INI. The most current surgical treatment options, including third ventriculostomy, CSF shunting, selective dorsal rhizotomy, Baclofen pump insertion, craniofacial reconstruction, brain tumor resection, and neural tube defect repair are available.
